Prince William County police are investigating three separate incidents of gunfire that occurred between Thursday and Sunday across the county. No suspects have been identified in connection with any of the events, and there were no reported injuries.
The first incident, according to the Prince William County Police Department, took place in Lake Ridge. Officers responded to a report of property damage in the 12600 block of Lake Ridge Drive on Thursday, April 20, 2023, around 9:45 a.m. The investigation revealed that an unknown individual had fired multiple rounds at vehicles and a residence between 11:30 p.m. on April 19 and 9:45 a.m. on April 20. Damage was confirmed to both vehicles and the home.
On Saturday, April 22, at approximately 12:45 a.m., police were called to the Dale City area following a report of shots fired. Witnesses in the 14800 block of Endsley Turn described hearing gunshots and seeing a dark-colored Cadillac sedan fleeing the scene. Officers located multiple shell casings in the roadway but found no damage to property or vehicles in the immediate vicinity.
The third incident occurred in Woodbridge on Sunday, April 23, around 11:20 a.m. Police responded to the 14000 block of Big Sur Drive for another report of shots fired. An investigation determined that an individual had discharged a firearm multiple times into the air before leaving the area on foot. Authorities located shell casings at the scene, but no property damage or injuries were reported.
Prince William County Police are continuing to investigate all three incidents. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police department.
