Prince William County Police are searching for a Dumfries man in connection with a sexual battery and assault incident reported at a Woodbridge grocery store. The individual, identified as Andrew Wayne Johnson, 35, of Dumfries, is currently wanted on charges stemming from the alleged interaction.
According to Prince William County police, the incident occurred at a Food Lion located at 13788 Smoketown Road in Woodbridge. Police stated that on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at approximately 10:15 a.m., an employee at the store was sexually assaulted by a male customer. Following an investigation, detectives identified Johnson as the alleged assailant.
Johnson is described as a Black male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police have released his description and are asking for the public's assistance in locating him.
