Prince William County police are actively searching for a 41-year-old Dumfries man identified as a suspect in connection with a sexual assault reported at a Food Lion grocery store in Woodbridge.
According to official statements from the Prince William County Police Department, the incident occurred on Tuesday, March 19, at approximately 7:00 AM at the Food Lion located at 13700 Smoketown Road. Responding officers were dispatched to the scene following a report of a sexual assault.
The investigation revealed that a store employee was sexually assaulted by an adult male while working. Police have identified the suspect as David Edward Williams of Dumfries. Williams is described as a Black male, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 190 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He is currently wanted on a felony charge of sexual assault.
