A 34-year-old Manassas man was arrested on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, and charged with rape, according to the Prince William County Police Department. The arrest followed an investigation into an incident involving a 16-year-old girl.
Police identified the suspect as Luis Armando Escobar-Lopez, a resident of Manassas. He faces one count of rape. Following his arrest, Escobar-Lopez was held without bond. A court date has been set.
