The project, which spans 15 miles along I-24 between Nashville and Murfreesboro, represents the largest private investment in Tennessee's history, according to the Prince William Times.

The scope of work for Ferrovial Construction includes the design, build, finance, maintenance, and operation of two express lanes in each direction. This public-private partnership (P3) with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) is valued at $3.3 billion over the 50-year project duration.
